About Walking

I walk every day that I possibly can outside for an hour.

When I started walking my goal was to get to 30 minutes daily but as my speed and stamina improved I increased the length until I am now walking an hour daily. I focus on getting my heart rate up to 80% of my target heart rate for 30 minutes of the walk. I don’t focus on distance, I focus on time and heart rate but that is usually almost 2 1/2 miles. (Target Heart Rate information below.)
